Chelsea Transfer Rumours : Lampard do Not Want Cole Go

Frank Lampard Chelsea midfielder really want Joe Cole to stay at Stamford Bridge. Cole’s contract will expire the end of this season, but he has not received a new contract from “The Blues” Chelsea.

“Joe is a fantastic player and I hope we can keep him here. I think all the colleagues at the club is also thinking the same thing like me” said Lampard.

“I do not know how Cole’s position with the club today. But I’m sure the club wanted to keep and Cole also wanted to stay,” added the England players. “Cole was able to give us the difference. Unfortunately, he was injured last season, but the previous season he was the best player.”

Until now, Cole’s agent still negotiating with Chelsea to discuss a new contract. If the deal fails, Cole could leave the “The Pensioners” with free player status. Some believe the English media, the Chelsea’s attacking midfielder is likely going to be given to Manchester City as part of an exchange with Daniel Sturridge.

Atletico have finally collapsed under Chelsea’s pressure to sign Sergio Aguero and are on the brink of offering the Argentinian star to Chelsea for 30 million pounds, coming from sources in The Daily Express.

Chelsea have long been putting pressure on Atletico Madrid to secure the services of the wonderkid, who is considered one of the worlds top talents. He plays up front alongside Diego Forlan for Madrid creating a deadly strikeforce.
