Chelsea has accepted these terms and will cover Broja's salary until June. The final step before the deal is complete is the medical examination, which is scheduled to take place within the next 24 hours.

The 22-year-old has struggled for playing time at Chelsea due to injuries and fierce competition, managing to score just three goals in 33 appearances. Broja, an Albania international with 23 caps, spent last season on loan at Fulham, where he made eight appearances but failed to score.

He did not feature under Maresca during pre-season, leaving his future uncertain. If he stays fit, he can improve a lot and get more chances at Ipswich. He is quick, strong, technically solid, but must improve his finishing and decision-making inside the box.

Broja's attacking stats have been rather unimpressive and they suggest that Albanian forward must take a quantum leap if he wants to become a top forward.

Armando Broja is set to join Ipswich Town in an exciting move that could see him make a permanent switch if the team avoids relegation. A verbal agreement has been reached for an initial loan, with a mandatory buy clause included, making the total package worth over £30 million.
