Broja, an Albania international with 23 caps, spent last season on loan at Fulham, but he played only 8 matches without scoring a goal. With a contract at Chelsea until 2028 and a valuation of £30m, Ipswich aims to initially take him on loan. The move is crucial as Ipswich's striker George Hirst is sidelined with a knee injury for eight weeks.

Broja didn't feature under Maresca during the pre-season and it's matter of time if he leaves on loan or will secure a permanent move.

Ipswich Town is reportedly in discussions with Chelsea to secure a loan move for striker Armando Broja, EADT reported. The 22-year-old, who has struggled for game time at Chelsea due to injuries and competition, has scored three goals in 33 appearances.
